GU-Q – Engagement of Minors (Volunteer)

To comply with the Protection of Minors Policy, please complete the following:

The Supervisor of the minor volunteer or unpaid intern is required to notify the Office of Compliance and Ethics at protectionofminors@georgetown.edu and provide the following information:

1. the minor’s name;
2. the name and net ID of the Supervisor;
3. the name of the department;
4. the intended start date and end date;
5. and a brief description of what the minor will be doing during the volunteer assignment or unpaid internship.

SUA:

Minors who are engaged as volunteers or unpaid interns are also required to be entered into the Sponsored University Associates (SUA) system.  Add the minor volunteer or intern to the SUA system by submitting a SUA request form.
